It’s a week into the new year and so far I’ve been pretty good about cleaning up my digital clutter. I was inspired by an article on LifeHacker last year but didn’t have a chance to fully take part in something like this because there were a lot of things going on- mainly, a wedding to plan.
This year, I started cleaning up the clutter when I unsubscribed from email mailing lists I’m no longer interested in (pretty much all of them.)
It’s super simple and now, after a week of doing this, I no longer have to look at over ten emails of spam every morning when I wake up. It’s actually quite amazing.
In addition, I went through my downloads folder and have been deleting files on my laptop that I no longer use. Added bonus: more space on my computer!
