I’m so excited about the poster that came in the mail today. I immediately put it on the wall. It’s one of my favorite pieces; “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt.
While it doesn’t have the sparkle of the original (nor the price tag), I’m really happy with it and what it does for the room.
Next steps- getting a frame for it to live in. Maybe I can do that this weekend if I’m feeling better.
Tuesday night was the premiere of Face/Off, a reality TV show about special effects artists. Gavin’s own makeup artist, Meagan, was on the show this season.
So we went up to Niko’s Greek Tavern in White Plains to watch it with Meagan, Carlos and their family and friends.
I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t watched the show so I’ll skip the part about how it ends. Here’s one of the pieces she worked on:
