On our honeymoon, Gavin and I received email confirmation of Jessica’s arrival the day after we returned. We talked about her coming to stay with us for a week, starting on that Saturday.
Milo eagerly awaited her arrival.
Gavin was super awesome and made us all breakfast on Sunday morning. We spent the day relaxing at the apartment.
Gavin went to an art gallery on Friday night to see a photo exhibit. I stayed home because it was long day of briefing “my twin” (the UX dude who is filling in for me while I’m out.) Plus, I had acupuncture that afternoon so I wanted to take it easy.
Sometime after eleven, Gavin showed up with Pete. Susan followed shortly afterward. It was good to see them again before we left for our trip. Plus, I got to show Susan what we did with Feng Shui as we walked through the apartment.
And then Popeye’s chicken happened. We all tried to keep our eyes open to hang out later but our weary eyes won that battled. We parted ways and then got some rest before the full day of packing ahead.
